Will
you help us fight child abuse?
The Gingerbread House
provides services to child victims of sexual abuse and severe
physical abuse at no charge to the victims'
families. In 2004, the Gingerbread House served 641 child
victims of abuse, a 22% increase from 527 child victims in
Year 2003. Since 2000, the Gingerbread House has increased
its case load by an average of 32% per year. In order to continue
providing services to child victims in north Louisiana , the
Gingerbread House applies for grant funding from national,
state, local sources, and private foundations. The Gingerbread
House also conducts annual fundraising events including the
Toast & Roast, pledge campaigns, and in-kind solicitation
requests.

Being a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization, the Gingerbread House depends largely on the
generosity of the community to maintain state of the art services
for child victims of sexual and severe physical abuse. Every
donation is valuable. Without community support,
the Gingerbread House would not be able to serve the over
650 child victims that we serve every year. Donations to the
Gingerbread House are tax deductible as allowed by law.
